Our Philosophy
Three principles Quality, Quantity, Timeliness
It is our belief as professionals that we must always strive to meet qualitative, quantitative and scheduling requirements demanded of us. In other words, we make sure that we provide the high quality product expected of us, on time, every time. This may sound simple enough, but we know how difficult it can be to meet such real-world requirements. We also know that as long as we continue to meet these expectations, our clients will give us the greatest reward of all; their trust. In order to achieve and sustain this level of service, the training of our personnel and our efforts toward overall system improvement never stop.

Our Methods
Communication is the first step.
The first step we take as professionals with any client is to make sure we truly understand their work. That is why we place a great deal of importance on maintaining close communication. An invention can be presented with better accuracy by working directly with the inventor or the intellectual property personnel. In addition, patent rights can be obtained quickly through ongoing communication with the examiner and the local agent. Communication is also key during dispute negotiations to provide the client with the most advantageous solution. We pride ourselves on being great communicators in every aspect of intellectual property pursuit.
Origin of the Name
In classical Japanese, the word "Hazuki" means August, the eighth month of the year. The Kanji character means "leaves" and the Kanji character means "month". August in classical Japanese suggests robust growth; a plethora of leaves and greenery. Hazuki is also written , literally the eighth month of the year. The number 8 also has a favorable connotation in traditional Japanese and is considered to be the most auspicious number. The character for eight has the two descending strokes which open away from each other, symbolizing eternal expansion. We decided to name our firm "Hazuki" in the hope that our clients and ourselves would grow and flourish together like leaves under the nurturing August sun. The number 8, the leaf and the globe all merge in our corporate logo.
